Privacy Policy

1. Who the controller is

The controller for the data collected on this site is Jeyvison Nascimento, acting in a personal capacity. For any data protection question, or to exercise the rights set out below, write to jeyvison@janpsa.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you hand us through the forms on this site:

  • Name and email address — required; without them we cannot reply to you.
  • Company or organisation, number of users and the plan you have in mind — optional, and they help us give you a useful answer.
  • Whatever you write in the message.

We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and we build no browsing profiles. We do not collect data about children, nor special categories of data (health, beliefs, trade union membership); if you send us that kind of information in a message, we delete it.

3. What we use it for, and on what basis

We use your data for one thing: to answer your request and, where appropriate, to carry on the commercial conversation. The basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): you contacted us of your own accord, and replying is what you expect of us. We have weighed that interest against your privacy — the data is minimal, you handed it over deliberately, and you can object at any time simply by saying so.

We use your data for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not pass it on for third-party marketing, and we make no automated decisions about you.

4. Who else handles it

For the site to work, one processor handles data on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Netlify — hosts the site and receives form submissions. When you visit, it processes your IP address in order to serve the pages; when you submit a form, it is Netlify that stores the content until we read it.

There is nobody else. If we ever add another processor — a payment provider, say, once subscriptions open — this list will say so before it happens.

5. Where the data sits

Data in the Foral application

Hosted in data centres in the European Union, beyond the reach of the US CLOUD Act. That is the product commitment and it stands in full.

Data from this website

That is a different matter, and we would rather be direct about it: the site is hosted by Netlify, a company based in the United States, and that is where form submissions are stored. This involves a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the further safeguards Netlify provides. If you would rather not use the form, write to us directly at jeyvison@janpsa.com — same destination, without going through it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep commercial contacts for 24 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we do so as soon as the request reaches us.

7. Your rights

In relation to your personal data, you have the right to:

  • Access — find out what data we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Rectification — correct anything wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
  • Restriction — ask us to keep the data without using it while a question is resolved.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection — because we rely on legitimate interest, you may object at any time; if you do, we stop contacting you.

To exercise any of these, just write to jeyvison@janpsa.com. We answer within one month, and we charge nothing for it.

8. If you disagree with our answer

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Portugal that is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD)cnpd.pt. We would rather you talked to us first, but the right is yours and does not depend on that.

9. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for what we store in your browser.
