1. Who is the data controller

The controller of the data collected on this site is Jeyvison Nascimento, acting as an individual. For any data protection question, or to exercise the rights described below, write to jeyvison@janpsa.com.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what you give us through the form on this site:

  • Name and email address: required, as we cannot reply to you without them.
  • Company or organisation: optional, it helps us give you a useful reply.
  • The message you write to us.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not build browsing profiles. We do not collect data from minors or special categories of data (health, beliefs, trade union membership); if you send us that kind of information in a message, we delete it.

3. What we use it for, and on what legal basis

We use your data for one thing only: to reply to your request and, where appropriate, to follow up on the conversation. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): you contacted us on your own initiative and replying is what you expect from us. We have weighed that interest against your privacy: the data is limited, you provided it deliberately, and you can object at any time simply by telling us.

We do not use your data for anything else. We do not sell it, we do not share it for third-party marketing, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

4. Who else handles it

For the site to work, one processor handles data on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Netlify: hosts the site and receives form submissions. When you visit the site, your IP address is processed by Netlify to serve it; when you submit the form, Netlify stores the content until we access it.

There is no one else. If we ever add another processor, this list will say so before it happens.

5. Where the data is stored

It is hosted in data centres in the European Union, out of reach of the US CLOUD Act. That is the product's commitment, and it stands in full.

Data on this site

That is a different matter, and we want to be upfront about it: this site is hosted by Netlify, a company based in the United States, and form submissions are stored there. This involves a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the other safeguards Netlify provides. If you prefer not to use the form, email us directly at jeyvison@janpsa.com: it reaches the same place without going through Netlify.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact details for 24 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. If you ask for deletion earlier, we delete them as soon as the request arrives.

7. Your rights

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

  • Access: find out what data we hold about you and obtain a copy.
  • Rectification: correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure: ask for your data to be deleted.
  • Restriction: ask us to keep your data without using it while an issue is resolved.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection: because we process your data on the basis of legitimate interest, you can object at any time; if you do, we stop contacting you.

To exercise any of these rights, simply write to jeyvison@janpsa.com. We reply within one month and charge nothing for it.

8. If you disagree with our reply

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at cnpd.pt. We would rather you spoke to us first, but the right is yours and does not depend on that.

9. Cookies

This site stores nothing in your browser: no cookies and no local storage. That is why we do not ask for your consent. If that changes, you will see a request before any non-essential cookie is stored, and this policy will be updated first.

In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
